Ride-sharing services, like Uber and Lyft, provide transportation options that can be subsidized to make them more affordable for low-income individuals. Proponents argue that it increases mobility for low-income individuals, reduces reliance on personal vehicles, and can reduce traffic congestion. Opponents argue that it is a misuse of public funds, may benefit ride-sharing companies more than individuals, and could discourage public transportation use.

Yes, specifically buses. Ubers and whatever is fine and all, but it's still smaller than it needs to be. buses take up much less space, and use much less fuel per person, so they should have MAJOR investment, as well as trains. And for low income households it should be free to a certain cap. I think everyone should have a sort of 'Transportation Card' that tracks the supposed cost of all their rides, and just withdraws from your account at regular intervals, and for lower-income individuals or children there should be a certain yearly cap that does not need to be paid at all

i dont think there should be a subsidize ride sharing service for low income individuals, i think there should be more bus routes and public transport routes

Reduce student fares even further down and all public transport costs especially fares from counties eh Galway to Dublin : many Dublin drive back and forth

I agree that ride-sharing services should be available for low-income individuals and I agree that reducing traffic congestion is a problem that needs to be prioritized, but I am not in favour of the idea of reducing reliance on personal vehicles.

no, increase funding for public transportation instead, and reform public transport in general
@9ZJ4RLC2mos2MO
No, public transport systems should be revamped instead
@9ZHTXRS2mos2MO
Yes, but to regulate these services so that they can ensure safety

This would be extremely difficult to manage. A more effective strategy would be to provide better transport for people. A park and ride scheme to reduce traffic.
