No, the government should increase public transportation infrastructure to make ride-sharing redundant.

 @B2NL5D4answered…3mos3MO

Yes for now given the transport system in Ireland is not great. However, the government should expand the transit network and encourage low-income individuals to take transit instead once the transit has been built.

Yes, specifically buses. Ubers and whatever is fine and all, but it's still smaller than it needs to be. buses take up much less space, and use much less fuel per person, so they should have MAJOR investment, as well as trains. And for low income households it should be free to a certain cap. I think everyone should have a sort of 'Transportation Card' that tracks the supposed cost of all their rides, and just withdraws from your account at regular intervals, and for lower-income individuals or children there should be a certain yearly cap that does not need to be paid at all

i dont think there should be a subsidize ride sharing service for low income individuals, i think there should be more bus routes and public transport routes

 @9ZV3LSYanswered…5mos5MO

Reduce student fares even further down and all public transport costs especially fares from counties eh Galway to Dublin : many Dublin drive back and forth

 @9ZTSYQRanswered…5mos5MO

I agree that ride-sharing services should be available for low-income individuals and I agree that reducing traffic congestion is a problem that needs to be prioritized, but I am not in favour of the idea of reducing reliance on personal vehicles.

 @B2WZ6ZPfrom Illinois  answered…2mos2MO

No the focus should be on public transportation like buses, subways and trains rather than private companies

 @9ZJ6GGFanswered…5mos5MO

no, increase funding for public transportation instead, and reform public transport in general

 @9ZHRV97answered…5mos5MO

This would be extremely difficult to manage. A more effective strategy would be to provide better transport for people. A park and ride scheme to reduce traffic.

 @9ZHJG9Yanswered…5mos5MO

Yes but make ride sharing services partly accessible for the week to not abuse or eliminate public transport.

 @9ZDW5P9answered…5mos5MO

 @9ZBFYR8answered…5mos5MO

no they should focus on making public transport both free and accessible for them

 @9ZKGZPRIndependentanswered…5mos5MO

The government should be taxing massive corporations who do the most polluting instead of transferring the cost of climate change to ordinary working people

 @9ZK46BJGreenanswered…5mos5MO

I believe this is a good idea but I don’t think it is worth the risk as it opens the door to many crimes such as theft, murder or kidnapping

The government should instead be rolling out wider access to public transport instead of pumping more money into the likes of uber etc.

 @9ZSPGP8answered…5mos5MO

I think this seems like a good idea however could lead to problems such as theft, kidnapping, SA and others

 @9ZQQHRHSocial Democratsanswered…5mos5MO
