Should gay couples have the same adoption rights as straight couples?

People from the LGBT community are more likely to adopt than straight couples

This will decrease the amount of children who arnt adopt and have to live in foster care their whole life giving a better quality of life to helpless children. If a couple of any gender are seen fit and stable enough to raise a child they should be allowed to.
