Full accessibility ensures that public transportation accommodates people with disabilities by providing necessary facilities and services. Proponents argue that it ensures equal access, promotes independence for people with disabilities, and complies with disability rights. Opponents argue that it can be costly to implement and maintain and may require significant modifications to existing systems.

Nobody should be denied their right to access public facilities such as transportation especially because of a disability.

The DART does not have built in wheelchair ramps you must pre book a ticket online for a specific time. This is not reliable as the Dart could be cancelled and it also sometimes never shows up this is not fair for disabled people to not have a reliable form of transportation

As mentioned previously, public transport is the key to any thriving society. When a quick, cheap & reliable alternative to the car is offered, people will take it & get off the roads, therefore causing less traffic & pollution. Giving disabled people the same access to decent public transport allows them the basic freedoms that we all take for granted, & allows them to commute easier to jobs, college, social gatherings ect...

How would you feel if you were waiting on a bus to go home to work school etc and there was only one seat on the whole double decker bus and you had to wait and the same again with the next bus so on and so forth and you were left stuck waiting on transport.

No

there is none? people with disabilities should be allowed to live with us and amongst us. they are human. there’s no need for a divide solely because they’re disabled. it massively impacts their life with the current lack of possibilities
@9YKYS8P4mos4MO
People with disabilities are just as entitled to access transportation services as anyone else, to deny them accessibility is to deny them the same rights and freedoms everyone else enjoys
All users of public transport should have the same opportunities and the same quality of access to public transport, especially when it is paid for by taxpayers
Disabled people are people and they deserve equal rights to everyone. They should have the same access to public transport as anybody else and this requires accessible transport options.q

No - most services should be accessible but some interventions may be too expensive to justify investment (e.g. low volume routes)
@9ZBDJSD4mos4MO
Phased basis.. don't make it so that some vehicles can't be used until ready to be replaced
@9YNC9G44mos4MO
