No, There are new innovations that bring pollution from vehicles down from 96% to 2% without affecting the performance of the fuel. These avenues should be looked into more. If electric vehicles get to a standard where they cost little to make and can be purchased cheaper or use solar power as hybrid standard then that could work also. I own 2 electric vehicles btw.

Not all new cars but electric and hybrid cars should be made more available than diesel or petrol cars.
