We should only accept refugees if our own population is dealt for already

 @95H5524answered…2yrs2Y

As many as we can without causing a strain on the government and tax payer

 @95DQ65Panswered…2yrs2Y

 @95DJFQ7answered…2yrs2Y

Only as much as physically can support, without harming our own population

 @95D64KGanswered…2yrs2Y

I believe we should help them however only after helping the already established citizens and refugees.

I think our government should solve the homelessness problem first before accepting refugees. Our own people need support to get back on their feet. However I'm not entirely opposed to giving refugees housing.

 @93DK9X6answered…2yrs2Y

A small amount, for a set limit of time. Give them aid and stable jobs until that period is over or they get citizenship.

 @938RQD6answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but also accept refugees from Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Ukraine etc

 @8Y9Z24Tanswered…2yrs2Y

All refugees or migrants should be subject to the same immigration process

 @8XX96M7Sinn Féinanswered…2yrs2Y

I am open to Ireland helping and accepting refugees, however I feel the government should look after Irish citizens first. For example the housing crisis, homelessness, lack of funding and staffing in healthcare sector etc.... it baffles me how the government can take on social issues outside of Ireland without addressing our own first.

 @8XVSHYYanswered…2yrs2Y

We should accept a certain amount of genuine refugees who should be screened prior to travel

No, there should be a focus on using Defence Forces to reclaim territory and allow Syrians to rebuild Syria.

 @8TH4ZLDLabouranswered…3yrs3Y

Only if economically viable to home and sustain them. Also background checks

 @8T4VVXPanswered…3yrs3Y

A lower number should be accepted considering the major housing crisis Ireland already suffers with shelter for our own citizens

 @8RRCGFKanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but after extensive background checks, continuous monitoring and that they return to Syria when the conflict is over

 @8QZ639Banswered…3yrs3Y

 @8QCR63Sanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but prioritise abolishing direct provision centres simultaneously

 @8NRQKXZGreenanswered…3yrs3Y

Only if the proper infrastructure to house and integrate them into society exist

 @8L2LXMBGreenanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes but we should also provide for the people currently homeless/ sick etc

 @8KPL2VGFine Gaelanswered…3yrs3Y

We should deal with our own homelessness crisis before bringing more refugees in as we cannot facilitate more people

 @8JMQR4Fanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8J2LNT2answered…4yrs4Y

Ireland should accept refugees from Syria in the short term in the long term we should help these refugees from Syria back to Syria we support an independent Syria & we help to rebuild Syria

 @8G8G3D6answered…4yrs4Y

Firstly we need an immergeration policy we need to control immergeration will legal not illegal immergrats

 @8F2FRP2answered…4yrs4Y

Only if we can treat them properly and not put them in direct provision centres
