The government should have no control or influence on private companies eg social media, unless effecting change in laws etc for the good of its people, but with its people’s consent and agreement.

Yes but it needs to be done through independent channels as yes there is lots of fake news and yes social media platforms promote what’s most radical for views and money but no the government should not determine what’s real or fake cause that can lead to corruption
