The housing system in this country is a joke

People save to get a mortgage in a certain area and have to pay deposits, legal fees etc, but yet to be "fair and inclusive" the government have mandated that 10% of each estate is to be council housing. This is highly unfair to the people who work and save so hard to afford a home and have mortgages to see others just handed these homes. Council estates should be build and if someone would like to live in an area they can save like everyone else and move out of social housing
