Is it justifiable for a country to intervene in another country's affairs to protect its own interests?

It depends on the interests in question. Countries have no right to intervene in another countries affairs unless there are human rights violations in question. If the ‘interests’ of a country are economical, they have no business interfering in another country’s affairs.

Do you think expelling diplomats is an effective way to handle disputes between countries?
