Kind of, more like a Confederation like the US but before the Constitution.

No, I strongly support membership of the EU but Ireland should remain an independent country and we should prioritise a United Ireland.

It depends on the type of federalism, and if cultural identity either gets replaced or (more preferably) added into the nation
