Every region in the United States that has defunded their police departments in the aftermath of the death of Gorge Floyd such as Minneapolis and Austin have seen a sharp increase in crime and both cities within the following three years have restored full funding to their police departments. People who know the law is hindered and poorly funded will and have taken advantage of it. Every high trust society has a police force, defunding police is a fantasy idea created by people who simply do not understand the nature of violence and are very cosy and hidden away from the poorest in society who will be affected by any defunding of the police.
There have been poise done on the black areas in America and over 60 percent say that the feel save with more police in there neighbourhoods so the ideas that police are a racist organisation is false
