they should be allowed limited access given the close relationship with ROI and NI, but should not be given full access considering they are no longer a member state

 @9MNS2VYanswered…8mos8MO

Yes but with protective agreements and they should not have the same freedoms as EU countries within these markets

 @9ZWB324answered…2mos2MO

No. "Leave means leave" and it's not our job to patch up their failure to come up with a proper deal.

 @9ZVDWS6answered…2mos2MO

As Northern Ireland is physically part of the island there should be a british isles/ irish sea agreement on trading of goods and services

 @9ZJSZC5Sinn Féin answered…2mos2MO

I feel that we should be able to have free trade with the UK as part of Ireland remained under the rule of the UK, but I feel the UK should not have unrestricted trade and travel within all of the EU

 @9ZGNTSJanswered…2mos2MO

Yes, as they are a vital market to all European countries for export, but I do believe there should be some sort of tariff/trade tax. They should not be allowed the same benefits as member states.

 @9ZFJ7QManswered…2mos2MO

no but they should be able to access Irish markets and vise-versa. A stong Ireland/UK relationship is crucial

 @9DRXJR8Sinn Féinfrom Kentucky  answered…1yr1Y

No, It was the UK's choice to leave so they will have to suffer the consequences of their own actions

 @9LLKJC9Sinn Féinfrom New York  answered…9mos9MO

They should rejoin the EU as the alternatives will reduce Britain to a third world country within 20 years

 @9J9GDGSanswered…12mos12MO

They should have a limited amount of access as a result of the unique situation with Northern Ireland

 @9MY38KGanswered…8mos8MO

Access, yes. The terms could and should have been negotiated far more sanely. Punishing the UK for leaving was despicable.

 @9N8W92Lanswered…8mos8MO

No, they are either in or out of the EU. If they wish to rejoin a vote between the EU parliament and UK population should take place

 @93X57HQIndependentanswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only if they act accordingly to EU laws like other non-EU countries

 @92BNGS9Greenanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, provided they comply with the terms of the Northern Ireland Protocol

 @8YYTV56Social Democratsanswered…3yrs3Y

I believe this is all down to what agreement they can make with other countries and the eu, but then again if this was apart or the agreement and they accepted this leaving then it’s not really anyone problem now they don’t like the outcome. But discussion should be had to help or advise them

 @8YP37XZFine Gaelanswered…3yrs3Y

yes i dont see the harm although they arent in the eu they should be allowed to buy from eu markets

 @8Y6B964answered…3yrs3Y

No however a we must look into a trade agreement between Ireland and the UK to ensure the Irish Economy doesn't take a hit.

 @8XVSHYYanswered…3yrs3Y

They shouldn’t get the same treatment as other European countries but deals should be done to encourage trade with them going forward

 @8WD3WNJSocial Democratsanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes but with the higher customs and tax charges that apply with any new trade agreement. They can't have the same advantages as member states.

 @8W7GX9Vanswered…3yrs3Y

 @8VJ8QN7answered…3yrs3Y

Not immediately, they should have to negotiate trade deals with each individual country

 @8TN945Janswered…3yrs3Y

Yes but only if they follow the same restrictions all members of the European Markets follow

 @8TN8HLJanswered…3yrs3Y

Should only have as much access as any other non-eu state e.g. USA/Japan Alternative terms can be agreed upon such as with the NI protocol

 @8TN5LKBanswered…3yrs3Y

If the UK wants access to the EU, then there should be a price for admission, with reduced access or no access to Irish waters for fishing purposes.

 @8T5XVJYSinn Féinanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, they should be allowed access the market to buy products from member States but the UK should not be allowed participate I the free trade agreement or the common market all member states are in.

 @8QL7GBTanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but with strict conditions which does not cause Ireland or the EU any disruption to monetary related issues or social issues

 @8QK64YZSocial Democratsanswered…4yrs4Y

As long as the four freedoms are adhered to, then yes the UK should be able to access the Single Market.

 @8Q9KHDManswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but with limitations as to not encourage other countries to leave.

Yes, but only if they accept the same terms as Norway, Iceland, and Lichenstein.

 @8PNYRX8Fianna Fáilanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8PLDGHQanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8PBLS6TSinn Féinanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes but only if the deal is mutually beneficial and applies both ways i.e. EU having access to UK markets.

 @8P8MZJHFianna Fáilanswered…4yrs4Y

Depends on the negotiations and what they offer in return. Level playing field and food standards have to be maintained for trade.

 @8NWQQ66answered…4yrs4Y

 @9BBWHKXIndependentanswered…2yrs2Y

If they negotiate a trade deal that is mutually beneficial then I am not opposed to it.

 @99DQBS7answered…2yrs2Y

 @99CLNDFanswered…2yrs2Y

No, they should negotiate individual deals (except for the Ireland situation)
