Only women should be in combat roles to balance out historical gender inequality. Mandatory conscription too
@9Z9CTH31mo1MO
yes, but interventions and restructuring of the military should take place to mitigate the risk for sexual violence occurring
@9Z9B9Y41mo1MO
Yes as long as they can pass close to the same physical test as a man because in war there is no simplifications for a women not being able to carry as much or run as fast but I do believe women should be allowed
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
How would you feel if someone close to you wanted to join the military and serve in a combat role?
@9YBRYYG2mos2MO
I would be proud but also nervous for them, I would not want them to go.
@9NGMZLDPBB Solidarity 7mos7MO
Honestly, I don't think there should be a military at all, I don't think anyone of any gender should have to serve in a combat role
@9H76M6G1yr1Y
No combat, just peace for everyone. Otherwise, it's better to just let anyone who wants to join join and leave those who don't want to get involved alone

@8C5RDBV4yrs4Y
Yes, but only opt in. Especially during defensive war. They should be low priority for front line. For strategic reasons the side with the most women will be disadvantaged physically.

@9BPPBRT2yrs2Y
In Ireland, women can serve in combat roles already and have even attended selection courses for the Irish special operation forces with none having passed thus far.
@8RW9BNQ4yrs4Y
Yes if women want to be in combat and pass necessary physicals. Equality for genders should mean equality to apply and to be assessed fairly and objectively for a role. It should not mean automatic right to assignment to all roles
