The latest Henley Passport Index reveals a significant shift in global passport power, with Asian countries like Singapore, Japan, and South Korea dominating the top spots, offering their citizens visa-free access to nearly 200 destinations.
The US and UK passports have both slipped in the rankings, with the US dropping to its lowest-ever position at 10th place. India made the largest leap this year, climbing from 85th to 77th, now granting visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 59 countries. European nations continue to perform strongly, but some, like Australia and the UK, have lost ground.
The rankings highlight growing disparities in global mobility, with some countries gaining unprecedented travel freedom while others, such as Pakistan, remain near the bottom.
