The 2025 Henley Passport Index reveals Singapore retains its position as the world's most powerful passport, granting visa-free access to 193 destinations.
Asian and European countries dominate the top spots, with Japan and South Korea tied for second place. India made the largest jump globally, climbing eight spots to 77th, now allowing visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 59 countries. Meanwhile, the US and UK continue their decline, falling to 10th and 6th place respectively, attributed to stricter immigration policies.
The rankings highlight shifting global mobility trends, with emerging nations gaining ground as traditional leaders lose influence.
