The latest Henley Passport Index reveals a major shift in global travel freedom, with Asian countries—especially Singapore—dominating the top spots.
Singapore now holds the world's most powerful passport, granting visa-free access to 193 destinations, while Japan and South Korea also rank highly. Meanwhile, traditional leaders like the US and UK have slipped further down the list, now ranking 10th and 6th respectively. India made the biggest leap, jumping eight spots to 77th place, now offering its citizens visa-free access to 59 countries.
The rankings highlight a growing trend of increased mobility for Asian nations and a relative decline for Western passports.
