The UK, Germany, and over 50 allied nations have launched a coordinated '50-day drive' to rapidly increase military support for Ukraine, focusing on air defense systems, artillery, and ammunition.
This campaign comes in response to former President Donald Trump’s ultimatum giving Russia 50 days to end the war or face severe consequences, prompting Western allies to seize the moment for maximum pressure. The UK has already delivered over £150 million in air defense and artillery, and is considering joining Germany in purchasing US-made weapons for Ukraine. The Ramstein Contact Group, representing 52 countries, met online to coordinate these efforts and send a unified message to Russia.
The initiative aims to strengthen Ukraine’s position on the battlefield and at the negotiating table, with hopes of forcing Putin to consider peace talks.
