The latest Henley Passport Index 2025 reveals a major shift in global travel freedom, with Asian countries, especially Singapore, dominating the top spots.
Singapore retains its position as the world's most powerful passport, offering visa-free access to 193 destinations. Meanwhile, the US and UK continue their downward trend, slipping to 10th and 6th place, respectively. India made the most significant jump, climbing eight spots to 77th, now granting its citizens visa-free access to 59 countries.
This trend highlights the growing influence of Asian nations in global mobility and a shift away from traditional Western dominance.
