No as our military strength is not enough to manage any retaliation. Ireland should never be an aggressor.

 @9ZHCLGPanswered…2wks2W

No, don’t assassinate but do remove them from the country immediately and report to their country of origin legal system

 @9ZC5WXBanswered…3wks3W

Ireland don't have the means to defend their own coast or airspace so this is just a stupid question

 @9ZBS5L4answered…3wks3W

If they are in a different country then I do not see why we should make it our issue unless they are planning on attacking us and if they were the best plan would be to put defence plans in place.

 @9ZBLC7Danswered…3wks3W

nterpol should take responsibility for investigating and arresting terrorist suspects in collaboration with the Irish equivalent.( I agree with this statement)

 @9Z9NPFVanswered…3wks3W

If there is hard evidence the person will commit the attack OR has done somthing similar in the past

 @9ZDK6S2answered…3wks3W

Don’t bother with other countries buisness and people let them decide what to do with them just don’t open your arms to these people

 @9ZDBFKGFianna Fáilanswered…3wks3W

We fought for neutrality, that should be respected unless said suspect poses a direct threat to the nation

 @9ZCTZV6answered…3wks3W

Yes but only in the most extreme cases, when capture is not an option and when there is undeniable proof that they are planning to attack the country. In all other cases they should be captured and be given a fair trial.

 @9F2CKNYanswered…1yr1Y

If a law has been broken or treat to our country detain them and make them face trail, if the resist and are a threat use whatever force is necessary

 @9FYKMDJAontúanswered…1yr1Y

If the terrorist is targeting the Irish Government then I think he should be handled by the EU and Irish military

 @9K94GZ3answered…9mos9MO

it depends on how much of a threat it is to a country. if its a big threat then yes, if not then no.

 @9JB2VW2answered…10mos10MO

we are ment to be neutral... why would we get involved, our army is for peace keeping. but they do need better training

 @9WWTDL9answered…1mo1MO

Interpol should take responsibility for investigating and arresting terrorist suspects in collaboration with the Irish equivalent.

 @9LLKJC9Sinn Féinfrom New York  answered…8mos8MO

Much of Ireland itself is currently a “foreign country.” The Free State’s collaboration with the Thatcherite death squads murdering the families of Republicans in the North was close enough to this and it was a disgrace

 @8H4GD78answered…4yrs4Y

they should be captured and given a fair trial & have them deported back from where they have come from but according to UK Law they must serve time in prison the rest he must serve in his own prison ack from where they have come from

 @beauchurleySocial Democratsanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, particularly those of Israeli origin, whose families and associates should be monitored very closely.

 @8FLTMG8Sinn Féinanswered…4yrs4Y

No, only suspected terrorists in our country, or from our country, or with an undeniable attack on our country, and they should be trialed fairly.

 @9BD57N4Social Democratsanswered…2yrs2Y

Ireland is a peaceful county, there should be no international military operations.

 @9BCZJZGanswered…2yrs2Y

Why would we get involved if it’s another country’s issue? Each country should be able to deal with their own attacks unless Ireland was specifically asked to aid the other country.

 @9BBWHKXIndependentanswered…2yrs2Y

I do not believe Ireland is capable of undertaking these sort of operations but I do believe that surveillance and monitoring of them should be undertaken.

 @98M8BPFanswered…2yrs2Y

in prison them & give them a fair trial & extradite them back to their country serving their prison sentence

 @963CJ2Kanswered…2yrs2Y

 @95FVBDManswered…2yrs2Y

 @94BXBXPanswered…2yrs2Y

Allow the United States and NATO to do it and not risk our own men for some foreign terrorist unless they threaten us directly.

 @92Y8NKLanswered…3yrs3Y

 @8YZKJL6answered…3yrs3Y

Yes but only if they are planning or have committed a attack on our country and have been convicted by a juge

 @8YP37XZFine Gaelanswered…3yrs3Y

they should have a fair trial but if they resist arrest and kill people there is no choice but assassinate them only as a last resort though

 @8YLXLQPSocial Democratsanswered…3yrs3Y

we should sent them back to their own country to assassinated & that is our Irish law

 @8YBM5JLanswered…3yrs3Y

No, unless there is a wanted fugitive from there place that they came from

 @8XFLST7answered…3yrs3Y

We have our own Irish law to deal with assassinating suspected terrorists in foreign countries in Ireland

 @8VJT56QFine Gaelanswered…3yrs3Y

If there is undeniable evidence that they have or going to commit an attack on our country, we should try to capture, interrogate and imprison them but if it is to dangerous we should assassinate them

 @8T3NV2HRenua Irelandanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only if the national interest exceeds the cost/risk of the operation.

 @8RP2FN4answered…4yrs4Y

Ireland is a neutral country and assassination would only provoke war and not lead toward a united government or world peace

 @8RLNYM8answered…4yrs4Y

No, and there should be global coordination so that we make sure to cooperate and assess fairly the danger represented by someone. Eventually capture and give a fair trial to such an individual

 @8R97B5Canswered…4yrs4Y

 @8R6JJWSanswered…4yrs4Y

We should work in association with the police forces and authorities in those jurisdictions

 @8J2LNT2answered…4yrs4Y

Irish Law does not allow for us to assassinate suspected terrorists in foreign countries who come here which is why we should update our laws

No 1. Military action taken inside allied countries must receive approval from the ally first and foremost.
