No I’m not comfortable with this notion we should protect it
@9KC9PCYIndependent Left3mos3MO
The natural beauty of the country should be preserved. Our history is unique, harsh but moreover rich with the arts. Something that, in the current state of National identity, is needed.
@9LD3FQZIndependent Left1mo1MO
This is a poorly thought out question which implies everyone has, is able to have, or is able wants children. I think it is vitally important to protect the world around us so it is there for future generations - they do not have to be my children for that to be important to me!
@9JJWFYQ 4mos4MO
It's much more than 'natural beauty', our very existence hangs in the balance if we fail to address growing environmental issues.
They claim there is all this evidence of global warming but why do the Rich keep buying near the sea then if water levels are rising?
@9JGBXR7Independent4mos4MO
No, of course not, and this goes for architecture too such as Stephen’s green shopping centre, while I’m an advocate of the free market, capitalism or more so corporatism has a way of taking the “soul” out of many things in exchange for profit.
@9JDWQY2Fianna Fáil4mos4MO
No, the natural beauty should be seen by every generation after me.
@9K6QPHZ3mos3MO
Yes, most good things that exist now because of nature my children will not witness.
@9JSDR673mos3MO
It would be great for future generations to enjoy the earth's natural beauty.
No I hate the thought of it since Ireland is so naturally beautiful
Anti environmentalism is silly and selfish. One earth. It's destroying Ireland.
@9LKXYTVSocial Democrats1mo1MO
No, Ireland is defined by its nature spaces. Without it, our country would be a grim place.
I would certainly not be at ease whether for aesthetic value or not we must keep our nation green
I would not be. We really need to do something even if it’s small to protect what we can.
I’m not ok with it but alternatives need to be proposed in order to make changes to help the environment
@9JZZJ3P3mos3MO
I think we should spend more money on trying to keep the environment
no, absolutely not - i think the natural world needs to be protected more in future
No I wouldn't, that's why I'm not planning to bring children into this world.
@9K29SXJ3mos3MO
No, the topic of climate change isn’t a conversation to me it is urgent crisis and it is happening now. We are actively watching our one planet be destroyed.
@9JZZ28X3mos3MO
It would stress me to think the natural beauty of both our country and world will
Not be around for future generations
@9KRDLFY 2mos2MO
I would hate to think that the green scenery currently available in Ireland would be gone before my kids get to show it to the their own.
There will be plenty of beauty for my children to see. More carbon means the earth will be greener
@9KQDVVJSocial Democrats2mos2MO
I believe that preserving the natural wonders of the country should be a paramount importance, even if it can be inconvenient at times
@9JZZ28X3mos3MO
It really stresses me. We need to maintain our environment for both our and future generations
@9JXN5QQIndependent Left3mos3MO
No. The destruction of the environment must be stopped.
@9JB2TTP4mos4MO
The thought of the natural beauty I enjoy not being around for future generations would be disheartening. It underscores the importance of addressing anti-environmentalism and taking collective action to preserve and protect our environment. Being aware of the potential loss can serve as motivation to advocate for sustainable practices, conservation efforts, and policies that ensure the beauty of nature endures for generations to come. It's a call to recognize our responsibility in safeguarding the environment for the well-being of both current and future communities.
@9L2W2JQ2mos2MO
Of course not, but it is the "green" policies of chopping down trees and building high-rise everywhere that increase flooding, plus windmills on land and sea are destroying natural habitats, causing whales to beach, killing migrating bird, etc... and then they blame "climate change".
@9KZRVF3Social Democrats2mos2MO
I would prefer if the environment could be maintained for future generations as best as possible
@9KQCR8JSocial Democrats2mos2MO
Protecting the environment needs to be a subject of international cooperation. While each country should individually aim to improve renewable energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve agriculture, and improve public transport infrastructure; significant change cannot happen without serious changes from global superpowers. For example, more international cooperation is needed in truly changing how fuel for transport and domestic use is generated
@9K49HPHSocial Democrats 3mos3MO
I am not at ease with this notion. The world changes and evolves naturally on its own, but the way it's being compromised by humanity is detrimental to it, and by extent, us. Economy ceases to exist when we do.
@9K486Y83mos3MO
I absolutely would not be at ease with this notion.
I worry about the Environment and want our generation to leave the environment in a better place than how we received it.
@9JXRFPNSocial Democrats3mos3MO
No, I'd hate not to have a natural environment present in the future and I hope to see an increase in environmental and biodiversity protection.
@9JG9VHWSocial Democrats4mos4MO
The climate emergency is my biggest concern. I'm terrified by reality of what our inaction is leaving our children and grandchildren
@9JDY4V4Social Democrats4mos4MO
no, the world is beautiful, dont destroy it for money
no I think that every generation should have the opportunity to the the beauty of our world
@9K4NYRYFianna Fáil3mos3MO
I would be disappointed that the natural beauty I had during my childhood would not exist for my children
@9K477JG3mos3MO
I’ll just move somewhere in land where there is natural beauty
Most definitely not. I would be horrified if my future children would be unable to appreciate the natural beauty of Ireland I enjoy now.
No, our country is truly beautiful and we must protect it but not at the cost of workers and normal peoples livelihoods
