Green Party’s جواب: نہیںThe Green Party has today reacted against the position the Irish Government are taking on TTIP. Minister Dara Murphy's assertion in Brussels today that huge financial gains were possible for Ireland do not stand up to rigorous investigation. Eamon Ryan said: "In supporting TTIP in its current form the Government are promoting an economic growth model that ignores the value of social and environmental capital. Their refusal to listen to the legitimate concerns that are being are being raised about the agreement is highly disappointing. Furthermore, it is shocking that the Labour Party are prepared to gamble with hard-won employment rights in order to further pad the bank balances of the world's biggest companies, and it only goes to show how far they have drifted from their founding principles.Source

Fianna Fáil’s جواب: جی ہاں، لیکن زیادہ شفافیت کے ساتھFianna Fáil supports the principle of removing barriers to trade. This is essential for Ireland to be successful. However, we also believe that trade deals must be fair and must protect the position of states which aim to ensure high living and employment standards. An ambitious and comprehensive TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership)
agreement between the EU and United States has the potential to add up to 10,000 jobs to the Irish economy across a wide range of businesses. However there are a number of issues that cannot be compromised around food standards and investor-state-dispute-settlement (ISDS)
mechanisms to protect Irish interests before full support can be given.Source

Social Democrats’ جواب: نہیںTTIP presents very serious concerns for the Social Democrats. While we support the removal of unnecessary barriers to trade where they bring benefits of sustainable economic growth and job creation, we do not consider consumer protections and product standards as barriers to be removed.
We recognise the threat the regulatory coordination principles contained in the draft agreement make for very hard won standards and citizen protections in how products are manufactured and sold. We do not support the dilution or watering down of consumer protections under any circumstances.
Furthermore, the proposed Investor-State Resolution mechanism appears to give undue influence and power to large corporations in determining public policy. The Social Democrats strongly believe that these provisions, as proposed, represent a threat to the proper democratic functioning of national parliaments and the right of governments to determine policy in the interests of the people alone. We also consider the secrecy of the process to be fundamentally undemocratic. We would therefore not support TTIP.Source

Labour Party’s جواب: جی ہاں، لیکن زیادہ شفافیت کے ساتھLabour also believes it is the duty of the Union
to strive for the best possible trade deals for
its member states and citizens. To this end
we will support social democratic efforts
to reform the questionable International
Dispute Settlement Mechanism within the
Transatlantic Trade Investment Partnership
(TTIP).
We want to see a deal in this area that ensures member states enjoy the benefits of free trade with North America, but avoids running the risk of undermining our essential consumer protections and quality guarantees that form a core element of the shared values of European people and nations.Source
