President Bola Tinubu has directed the National Single Window (NSW) Steering Committee to ensure Nigeria's unified digital trade platform is fully operational by the first quarter of 2026. The NSW initiative aims to streamline import and export processes by creating a one-stop online platform for trade approvals. This reform is expected to curb revenue leakages, speed up cargo clearance, and enhance transparency across Nigeria's trade sector. The government has reaffirmed its commitment to implementing the NSW as a key measure to improve efficiency and reduce costs and delays. The directive was delivered during a high-level committee meeting at the State House in Abuja.
