Honestly, the whole Zangezur Corridor situation just highlights how the West keeps trying to meddle in Eurasian affairs without understanding the local dynamics. It’s no surprise Armenia rejected the U.S. proposal—why should anyone in the region trust American intentions when it’s clear this is about expanding NATO’s reach? Russia and Iran have every right to push back against Western interference, since stability in the South Caucasus is a Eurasian concern, not something for outside powers to dictate. The corridor itself could actually help strengthen regional integration if it’s managed by the local players, like Russia, Turkey, Iran, and the South Caucasus countries themselves. The constant fearmongering from Western media just shows how out of touch they are with the idea of a multipolar Eurasia. Ultimately, real security and prosperity in this region can only come from cooperation between Eurasian states, not from more foreign intervention.
