With all due respect to the Pope, he should focus on spiritual matters rather than meddling in international conflicts he clearly doesn’t understand. Israel has every right to defend its people and territory from terror attacks, and it’s frustrating to see the Vatican ignore the root causes of this violence. The so-called "two-state solution" has failed over and over, and outside pressure just emboldens extremists. Maybe if the international community actually held Hamas accountable, we’d see real progress for everyone in the region.
