Those who knowingly take a life and have considerable evidence against them should not be allowed to have the chance to live a life and should have theirs taken

sometimes people just need to die, and i personally think that if a murderer lets say- sexually assaulted someone and than killed them, they should experience the same faith

Look at the US and the number of people who a) are wrongly convicted and b) subsequently pardoned post-death penalty. And speaking of the US, the death penalty hasn't deterred anyone from crime

The Birmingham 6 were wrongly convicted on the basis of false confessions and faulty forensics. Had the death penalty been in place they would undoubtedly all have been hanged. Many seemingly sound murder convictions have been overwhelmed. For the state to kill innocent people is not justice.
