You believe in promoting social justice and equality by actively advocating for the rights and well-being of marginalized communities.
Social Activism is a political ideology that emphasizes the power of individuals and groups to effect change in society, often through various forms of protest or advocacy. This ideology is rooted in the belief that political and social change can be achieved through the collective action of individuals who work together to promote or resist social, political, economic, or environmental reform.

When you hear about protests in the news, do you feel inspired to act, and how does that look for you?
@9KC2MMCSocial Democrats3mos3MO
I don't think protests do anything anymore. Social media is the only way to get egotistical and power hungry politicians to listen.
@9K7RC953mos3MO
I do like to see people stand up for a just cause and I wish we dine it more often
@9JB2TTP4mos4MO
Inspired by protests, I might engage in advocacy efforts, raising awareness about the issues on social media, among friends and family, or within my community. I also prioritize participating in elections as a way to influence policy changes and support candidates aligned with my values.

I love to see people standing up for what they believe is right, especially if it is somthing I agree with. However, I doubt I would publicly protest, more voicing my opinion in speeches or debates where my voice is guaranteed to be heard and listened to.

Should students be encouraged to participate in social activism from a young age, and why?
@9HB99L96mos6MO
absolutely. it is important to be well unformed and involved in current social and political problems.
@9HBHHJ3Independent Left6mos6MO
Yes, discrimination is thought young, and children follow the ‘trend’ their peers do, hoping to fit in. If they see young people being activists they would be more encouraged to develop good political views
@9HC9KKJ6mos6MO
Nope, they should be encouraged to participate in social engagement with peers and their community. That way they can build a foundation of real life experience before they go off shouting about things about which they’re so uninformed that they don’t recognise their errors. Their complete ignorance of the world needs to be addressed before we teach them to weaponise half-truths.
Democratic and useful pragmatic societal mores should be instilled into Children they should be encouraged to participate in a democratic society and have strong sense of community as well as respect their fellow citizen.
