You believe that opposing Islamic beliefs and practices will lead to a safer and more culturally cohesive society.

What can be done to differentiate between criticizing ideas and perpetuating harmful stereotypes against a group of people?
@9H9QV3GIndependent Left6mos6MO
Educate children in schools: fair and equal view on all religion and civic rights instead of the catholic indoctrination seen in most schools. ('god made animals and people walk on rainbows' my son (5, JI)

Maintaining open dialogue is key with regard to concerns about other beliefs but hate should not be tolerated under any circumstances

the actions of an individual Islamic person or an extremist Islamic organisation do not reflect normal Islamic people. People need to learn how to be against extremist groups regardless of religion or beliefs and not be against the collective group of those people.
Have people from different backgrounds actually mingle into communities. When I was young I lived near a refugee centre, we went to school with Africans and a kid from Iraq. We liked them cos we mixed with them and thought each other things. As an adult only other Europeans and Africans mix outside their group, other nationalities do not mix. It's normal human instinct to be warry of groups of strangers, never speaking to you, standing off to the side huddled in large groups. This creates separation in communities. Our African friends are friendly and great people, we do not know these new people we find in our country. Change that and people will see there's no difference.
