By finishing their sentence our law system has declared that they have been rehabilitated, and although this crime will be recorded, they will not be further punished. to punish them continually is like banishing someone in the old barbaric times.

We need to set standards for those in public life. To have convicted criminals potentially as head of state is not an example that should be set.

If they have previously committed a crime then there is no proof that they will mot do so again and they have a higher likelihood of committing one again since they already committed one
